Chase Associates Model CM-12 Quick-Opening, Out-Swing Manways secure a hinged ASME flanged and dished head against a liquid-tight, replaceable gasket with a series of quick release toggles. Provides access in seconds without the use of tools. Conforms with OSHA Permit Required Confined Space rules.
Model CM-12 Manways are designed for vertical and horizontal installations into new or existing steel tanks or concrete walls and roofs. This product can be welded to a steel tank or embedded in concrete and can also be fitted with a drilled mounting flange ring for bolt up to new or existing flanges. Each manway is fabricated to meet your specific requirements including type of material, pressure rating and the correct gasketing for the tank contents. This model can be customized for unusual situations and optionally provided with sightglasses and sample ports.
Model CM-12 products conform to the following: Welding Procedures-ASME Code Sec IX, WPS CA-FC 8/8, FCAW (all welders are ASME certified); AWWA D100-96 Section 7.1 Shell Manholes and OSHA “Permit-Required Confined Space” entry rules Part 1910.146. Material Test Reports are provided on all materials.
